Notice

Notices regarding using MyLINE and MyLINE Plus

You can continue using your current telephone.

  • Please be careful about fraudulent salespersons over the telephone. For example, some may say, "In order to use this service, you can not use your current telephone, ACR or adapter."
  • No installation work or wiring is required upon using this service.
  • Mobile phones, PHS, and public telephones can not be registered for this service.
  • If you want to make an international call using a mobile phone such as a cellular phone or PHS, or using a public phone, please dial your carriers' access code number+010+Country Code+Area Code+Telephone Number.
  • Toll-free numbers (0120), Sharp Dial (#ABCD), 117, 110, 119, 177 (listening to a weather forecast without using a city code), and Pink public phones are not subject to this service.
  • Keep in mind that if you use a CATV telephone, you can not register for "MyLINE" or "MyLINE Plus".

For customers already using NTT Communications discount services

You may not be able to use some of our telephone discount services such as Shabericchi Plus or Home & Office Discount Plus depending on your "MyLINE" or "MyLINE Plus" registration. Therefore, we recommend that you select NTT Communications for both out-of-prefecture calls and International calls.

For customers using telephones with ACR functions

For "MyLINE"
The following shows the priority when a telephone carrier is selected by your telephone with the ACR function.
The selected telephone carrier by the ACR function has priority over your registered carrier.
The selected telephone carrier by the ACR function for each call has priority over MyLINE.

For "MyLINE Plus"
Your registered telephone carrier has priority over carriers selected by the ACR function.

About audio guidance when using "MyLINE Plus"
If you dial an access code number for an unregistered carrier or use an ACR function provided by an unregistered carrier while using "MyLINE Plus", notification is given in the following ways.

  • Customers using a regular fixed line phone are notified with a short "Beep, Beep, Beep" dial tone.
  • Customer using ISDN (Sound, 3.1kHz audio) are notified with a short "Beep, Beep, Beep" dial tone and the access code number of the connected telephone carrier is shown on the display.
  • Customer using ISDN (64KB/S unlimited digital data communication) are notified by having the access code number of the connected telephone carrier shown on the display. In both cases, the problem is not with the telephone or the line. Sound notification or the carrier's access code number display may not be given depending on your equipment.

* If you want to use the cancellation code "122" for "MyLINE Plus" and "186/184" for switching the display/do not display of the caller ID, please dial "186/184+122+Carrier access code number".

* Customers that do not register for "MyLINE Plus" do not need to dial "122". If you do dial "122", a voice message will tell you that next time you do not to dial this number.
