NTT Communications to Establish Sriracha Branch Office in Thailand to Enhance Customer Support and Sales

TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that Bangkok-based NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will establish an office in Sriracha, Chonburi Province on May 26. This fifth office of NTT Com in Thailand will strengthen the provision of ICT solution services to customers operating in the nearby industrial estate, as well as to MNCs newly entering Thailand.

The new office will give NTT Com a physical presence in 103 cities of 39 countries/regions.

Sriracha, which is located 110 kilometers southeast of Bangkok, is a major industrial zone centered around Laemchabang port, Thailand’s largest trading port and logistics center. The area has become a base for more than 700 MNCs from Japan and other countries, covering industries such as automotives, electronics, finance and petrochemicals.

The area has attracted interest among business for being far enough from Bangkok to be unaffected by occasional political disruptions, as well as free of the large-scale flooding that devastated Ayutthaya Province and other areas north of Bangkok.

The location in Sriracha will enable NTT Com to provide quick, responsive local support, such dispatching engineers, for customers nearby and in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Zone or Amata City Industrial Estate, both just one hour away.
