Global e-VLAN Users Gain Access to Arcstar Global IP-VPN

TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today the launch of an optional service that enables Global e-VLAN wide Ethernet networks in 11 countries/regions to connect with Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN in 159 countries/regions.

The optional service, named IP-VPN Bridge, enables greatly expanded Global e-VLAN coverage, as well as seamless access to layer 2 and 3 networks.

Customers now have the option of combining Global e-VLAN for data-heavy business centers and bandwidth-heavy data centers with Arcstar Global IP-VPN for offices bases around the world, thus realizing a hybrid solution that maximizes the advantages of both networks.

NTT Com backs up both of these stable, high-quality networks with one-stop integrated management, from initial application and installation to ongoing support, maintenance and billing.

Global e-VLAN is available in Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, United States, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands and Germany. The service also provides seamless access to NTT Com’s e-VLAN wide-area Ethernet network service in Japan.

The initial cost and monthly charges vary according to network design and other conditions.
