Cloud-based Unified Voice-communication Solution
based on NTT Communications’ Arcstar UCaaS
1) Cloud-based communication via diverse devices
NTT Com’s solution will enable the ANA Group to realize fixed-mobile convergence of fixed-line and mobile communications via internal and external lines using diverse devices, including IP phones and smartphones. Significant cost savings will be realized compared to private branch exchanges (PBX) operated in individual offices. The plan is to replace 7,000 fixed-line devices with IP devices, as well as add 10,000 mobile devices.
2) Web-based address books accessible securely from anywhere
Cloud-based address books can be browsed and managed securely without saving contact information or call records on the device side. When receiving calls, the ANA caller’s basic information will pop up conveniently on the receiver’s device screen. Some 10,000 mobile devices will be equipped with this function.
3) Mobile device management (MDM) for enhanced corporate security
The solution’s MDM function ensures the protection of corporate information in the case of lost or misplaced smartphones and tablets. Features include remote device lock, remote data deletion and other security measures. Some 10,000 mobile devices also will be equipped with this function.
