NTT Com Expands Global IT System Management Service to North America and Europe

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications (NTT Com) today announced immediate availability of its Global IT System Management Service in North America and Europe. Already available in Asia, the Global IT System Management Service provides enterprise users with a comprehensive support package to monitor and manage their overseas IT infrastructure via NTT Com’s network operation centers in New York, London, and Paris. An enhanced web-based portal service supplements this service for easy monitoring by service subscribers.

The service allows users to have NTT Com operation centers to monitor and troubleshoot their networks on a 24x7 basis for optimal IT asset management. This eliminates users’ need for upfront investment in their proprietary monitoring software and equipment. Additional features such as data backup services are available upon request for cost-effective operations.

Effective today, NTT Com’s web-based portal services also become available for the Global IT System Management Service users, enabling them to view up-to-date operational information on their systems including traffic patterns, event logs, security risk levels and IT asset information. NTT Com will issue a monthly report summarizing such details.

"With this Global IT System Management Service, Arcstar Global IP-VPN service subscribers can take advantage of the powerful combination of our reliable network services and IT management services with convenience of one-stop shopping," said Mr. Kimio Tamura, Vice President of the Product Management Group, Global Services Business Division.
