NTT Communications Marking 1st Anniversary of
|
| NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) will discount charges for its 0033 International Telephone Service for a limited time to mark the first anniversary of the service and to thank patrons for using it. The discount will last from September 15 (Friday) to October 1 (Sunday). The 17-day period has been timed to coincide with the Sydney Olympic games. During the period, users will be able to make international calls to any service area (country or region) at any time (excluding communication via international digital communication mode) for approximately 33%* off the price of normal rates. Moreover, users of OCN Home Pack*1, Home Discount*2, International Home Discount*3, Business Discount*4, and International Corporate Discount*5 services will be able to enjoy additional discounts. For example, a three-minute call to the United States—during late night hours—from a general telephone registered with OCN Home Pack, will cost only 14 yen per minute. Those signed up with Home Discount or International Home Discount will pay 15 yen per minute under the same conditions (please see Attachment for specific rates). Notes: *1 OCN Home Pack: Service offering discount of 30% on telephone and Internet charges to users of NTT Com’s OCN Internet access service. Users can enjoy 30% more Internet access time for the same monthly OCN basic charge, a 30% discount on excess time charges and an additional 5% discount on top of the normal 25% discount normally offered by the Home Discount Service. *2 Home Discount: Provides 25% discount for users whose inter-prefectural long-distance and international communications charges exceed more than 2,000 yen per month. *3 International Home Discount: This service, which provides late-night discount rates on international calls, will be expanded by six hours to 19:00 to 10:00 the next day. Normally, it is from 23:00 to 8:00. Users can also enjoy late-night rates all day on weekends and holidays. Moreover, discounts of 13% for daytime calls and 25% for late-night calls will be provided whenever the user’s total monthly bill exceeds 1,000 yen. *4 Business Discount: Provides discounts for multiple contracted circuits according to the total monthly bill for inter-prefectural long-distance and international calls. Discounts are as follows: Monthly bills ranging from over 10,000 to below 30,000 yen (25%); over 30,000 yen to below 300,000 yen (28%); and over 300,000 yen (30%). *5 International Corporate Discount: Provides discounts that increase in accordance with monthly charges. Discounts are as follows: charge segments over 3,000 yen to 30,000 yen (25%); over 30,000 yen to 300,000 yen (28%); and over 300,000 yen (30%). |
