Opening of Wuhan Office
In February 2010, NTT Com opened an office in Wuhan, Hubei province. The Wuhan Office is NTT Com's first inland office in China, following the establishment of offices in the coastal regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Dalian and Tianjin.
Wuhan is the largest industrial city in the Huazhong region (an area including Henan, Hubei and Hunan provinces). With economic development zones and Hi-tech Industry Development Zones in its district, the city has been raising its economic growth rate. Also, the opening of a high-speed railway between Wuhan and Guangzhou in December 2009, has heightened expectations for further development.The opening of Wuhan Office has allowed faster operation and maintenance for customers in the Huazhong and other inland areas.

Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN Service's Telecommunication Facility Opened in Guangzhou
Establishment of Guangdong Province Telecommunication Facility
In January 2010, a new telecommunication facility (POP) for an international IP-VPN service, Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN, was established in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
The Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN service has been available to customers throughout China since the Beijing and Shanghai POPs were established in March 2002. The new POP in Guangzhou will provide highly qualified communication services to customers with offices in the Guangdong Province and neighboring areas.
Also, the Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN backbone is connected to Japan and Hong Kong. This allows customers to have stable connection with low latency, not only to Japan, but other regions in Asia.

Shanghai Premium Data Center Opens to Meet Customer Needs
In February 2009, China Telecom Corporation Limited and NTT Com China established Yuanqu Data Center in Shanghai.
Yuanqu Data Center is a "Premium Data Center" that meets the high standard of quality. The rise in need of data centers with reliable and qualified operation levels from numerous corporations in China, has led NTT Com to the establishment of Yuanqu Data Center in Shanghai.
The addition of Shanghai Premium Data Center to the existing lineup of data centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, allows NTT Com to further support the business expansion of our customers. In the spring of 2010, NTT Com also established a Data Center in Wuxi. Wuxi has been attracting attention as an offshore area, after Dalian, and more Japanese companies expand into this region in recent years.

Cloud-based Enterprise Services in Shanghai
NTT Com announced that its Biz Hosting Global virtual hosting service will launch in Shanghai, China on January 5, 2011 through partnership with local partners. The service, currently available in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and the United States, is a secure cloud-based enterprise service for business users from anyplace at anytime. This will leverage NTT Com's premium data center in Shanghai to enable multinational companies to outsource key ICT infrastructure for the rapid, cost-efficient launch of secure, robust ICT initiatives.

New Offices in Shenyang, Chengdu, and Shenzhen
In July 2012, NTT Com's subsidiary NTT Com China opened branch offices in Shenyang, Chengdu, and Shenzhen to grow their business and increase competitiveness in mainland China. The new branches provide system architecture, maintenance and management for businesses in and around these dynamic cities.
The three locations were chosen for their appeal for domestic and international companies and their excellent growth potential. Shenyang—and northeast China as a whole—has attracted many domestic and foreign BPO service providers due to the lower cost of labor in comparison with coastal areas and the abundance of fluent foreign language speakers. Chengdu also offers lower relative labor costs and has become a hotspot for manufacturing and distribution companies capitalizing on the recent increase in domestic demand. The area around the Pearl River Delta, including the special economic zone of Shenzhen, has been sustaining high rates of growth and currently has the highest concentration of foreign companies in China.
