NTT Worldwide Network Corporation (NTTWN) will start to provide "High-Speed Digital International Leased Circuit Service" in Australia from August 23.

NTTWN is ready to extend destinations further based on customer requests.


1. High-Speed Digital International Leased Circuit Service

(2)	Available Speeds: 56Kbps, 64Kbps, 128Kbps, 192Kbps, 256Kbps, 384Kbps, 512Kbps, 768Kbps,1.024Mbps, 1.152Mbps, 1.5Mbps, 2Mbps, 45Mbps, 150Mbps
(3)	Destinations: December, 1998: United States, United Kingdom, China (Including Hong Kong), Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Australia

2. Others

NTTWN filed today with the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications an application for adding Australia from August 23.NTT Communications will assume this service on October 1 after merging with NTTWN.
