OCN Virtual Connect to Offer NGN Access Option

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) announced today that OCN Virtual Connect, a service providing network backbone and access points on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) basis for corporations including Internet service providers (ISPs), will offer a new connection option via the super-high-speed next-generation networks (NGN) of sister companies NTT East and NTT West beginning December 9.

OCN is the Internet service provider operated by NTT Com.

The new “FLET’S Hikari Next" option will be available wherever NTT East or NTT West offer NGN access.

OCN Virtual Connect access options currently include ADSL (“FLET’S ADSL") and optical fiber (“B FLET’S"), both of which originate with NTT East and NTT West.
