NTT Com Adds New Options for Corporate Data Services

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Com announced that beginning today that it is offering new bandwidth and network options for its “e-VLAN" wide-area Ethernet, “Arcstar™ IP-VPN" MPLS-based IP-VPN service and “Super OCN"/"Super OCN Lite" Internet-connection services for corporate customers, made possible by linking these data communication services with the Business Ether Wide™ service of NTT East and NTT West. The options initially will be available in Tokyo and Osaka area, with expansion to other areas of Japan planned.

Business Ether Wide for access lines

This option, which uses Business Ether Wide for access lines, provides bandwidth of between 500 Kbps and 100 Mbps for e-VLAN, Arcstar™ IP-VPN, Super OCN/Super OCN Lite. The option is especially suited to customers with nationwide networks. NTT Com handles customer service at all stages, from application to operation to troubleshooting. Billing conveniently combines access and network charges in one simplified fee.

Business Ether Wide for network

This option uses Business Ether Wide for the network, as well as access lines, of companies using the e-VLAN service. It is especially suited for networks concentrated in a specific region. Bandwidth from 1 Mbps to 1 Gbps is available. Billing can be organized on a localized, prefecture-wide or inter-prefectural basis. As with the other option, NTT Com handles all customer service.
