TOKYO, JAPAN --- NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) today announced that as of yesterday it has closed its tender offer for NTT Visual Communications Corporation (NTT Visual).
NTT Com’s board of directors approved the tender on November 30, 2007 and the company began acquiring NTT Visual shares on December 3. NTT Com expects to purchase a total of 1,375 share certificates, raising its ownership of all outstanding share certificates from 44.50% to 50.01%
To date, 13,152 share certificates have been applied; as a result, NTT Visual will be a consolidated subsidiary of NTT Com.
