NTT Communications to Offer Global ICT Infrastructure to SAP Partners

TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and NEC Corporation (NEC) agreed today to collaborate on the rapid launch of SAP outsourcing solutions in Southeast Asia.

Effective today, the two companies have begun marketing and joint sales of SAP solutions that combine NTT Com's global Information-Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure, such as Arcstar international data networks, Data Center, and hosting services, with NEC's expertise in SAP development, implementation, and consultation.

Multinational companies, in an effort to strengthen corporate governance, are deploying enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages globally that had previous been developed at an individual country level. At the same time, demand is increasing for higher-quality, lower-cost systems to ensure business continuity. Managing international ERP communications for network availability and minimal application delays is a critical issue for multinationals.

NEC Group, a leading provider of SAP ERP packages in Southeast Asia, won SAP Awards of Excellence in six categories in 2007. NTT Com has broad expertise in providing global ICT infrastructure, enhancing its value with network optimized solutions to reduce SAP response time, and services that forecast and analyze traffic per individual application.

Joint marketing and workshops will be led by NTT Singapore Pte Ltd, NTT Com's wholly owned subsidiary and APAC regional headquarters, and NEC Asia Pte Ltd, the Southeast Asian regional subsidiary of NEC.

NTT Com continues to expand the scope and availability of SAP solutions, and to collaborate with application developers and system integrators.

More information about NTT Com's SAP outsourcing in SE Asia will be displayed during the NTT Communications Forum 2007 at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo on November 29th and 30th. For details, please visit www.ntt.com/forum.
