NTT Com and NTT Resonant to Conduct Feasibility Study for Enhanced RSS Service
NTT Com and NTT Resonant (NTT Com’s subsidiary), started Enhanced RSS service on a free-trial basis for NTT Resonant’s portal site “goo” users beginning from June 6 through the end of December. The enhanced RSS service will automatically select the relevant information based on user’s interests and then will send the information as an RSS feed to users who logs in to “goo RSS reader (web version)”. The enhanced RSS uses NTT Com’s propriety technology which analyzes user history logs by algorythms. Following the trial, NTT Com will evaluate the recommendation and personalization technology for future services. NTT Resonant aims to market the enhanced RSS service.
