NTT Com to Start 40 Gbps Giga Stream Network Service
NTT Com launched Japan’s first 40 Gbps Real Private Network service called “Giga Stream” from June 1. The low cost service operates as a wide area Ethernet, while boasting a top class operation availability of 99.999%. Launching first in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, service and will gradually expand throughout all of Japan and become the backbone of SINET3, the academic information network created by National Institute of Informatics as a first case.
