NTT Com Launches SOX Act Consultation Service

NTT Com today starts providing internal control support services for clients wishing to set up an internal control system in line with the Japanese version of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX Act), or Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002.

With this consultation service, NTT Com aims to reduce by about 30% the total cost incurred in handling the work of the SOX Act by utilizing the data base of about 400 companies in the U.S. NTT Com will also provide one-stop solutions that cover the designing of IT strategy, training sessions for the documentation process, integrated log management, ID management, monitoring of PC operation, monitoring of intrusions from hackers, introduction of ERP, and security measures.
