Web-Based VPN Storage Service for Group-VPN
NTT Com today launched the VPN Storage service for its closed, Web-based networks, known as Group-VPN. Users will not need to set up a dedicated server or contract with an ASP, and NTT Com’s data center will provide round-the-clock monitoring.
The back-up service includes virus checking, access logs, password encryption and more. It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Unix.
NTT Com is now planning similar services for other Web-based networks, such as Arcstar IP-VPN and e-VLAN.
