NTT Com Expands Wireless LAN Roaming in Germany
|TOKYO, JAPAN NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Deutsche Telekom AG to expand its high-speed wireless LAN roaming service in Germany to 2,101 access points, effective immediately.
The expansion increases NTT Com's existing service by 163 new locations in 19 cities via the following five roaming service providers (see also attachment):
- BerlinNet GmbH
- DOKOM GmbH
- Hannover Congress Centre
- Hannover Fairground
- ISIS Multimedia Net GmbH & Co KG/Arcor AG & Co. KG
Roaming is available to NTT Com's Hotspot, OPEN Plan and OPEN Plan Light service subscribers. The pay-as-you-go service has no signup fee, and connection costs 25 yen per minute.
