NTT Com Wholly Owned Subsidiary Begins Operations in New Delhi

TOKYO, JAPAN NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, NTT Communications India Private Limited (NTT Com India), with branches in Mumbai and Bangalore, began operations in New Delhi. Established on September 9, NTT Com India provides local network integration and solution services for Japanese and other multinational companies.
The subsidiary will enable NTT Com to respond to strong demand for total network solutions, including global network services, LANs and IP networks, for offices and factories.
NTT Com India is headed by Kenji Sato and has paid-in capital of 200 million yen (approx. 780 million rupees).
In partnership with Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL), Indias largest international telecom company based in Mumbai, NTT Com launched the Arcstar Global IP-VPN servicethe first of its kind offered by a Japanese company in Indiain May 2005.
NTT Com and VSNL will establish an MPLS node in New Delhi, their third node after Mumbai and Bangalore, to serve multinational companies in northern India beginning this autumn.
