NTT Com Announces Restructuring of Solution and Global Services |
| TOKYO, JAPAN—NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) announced today it will restructure its solution and global service businesses, two of the organization's four core businesses, as part of transforming NTT Com into a "Global IP Solution Company" as announced in March (see Attachment 1). The Global Professional Services Department will be merged into the Solution Business Division to provide total solutions to drive the company's global business (see Attachment 2). Skill bases such as consulting for domestic and foreign clients will be transferred to the Solution Business Division. Under solution services, the Data Center Business Division and IT Management Services Department will be reorganized as the new IT Management Services Business Division (see Attachment 1). The new division will provide total IT-related outsourcing services. The restructuring will enhance efficiency of operation, support and management for IT resources at all layers including servers, client equipment and applications. NTT Com will continue its dedicated efforts to provide customer-centric outsourcing services in the future.
