NTT Com to Offer Asset Management Solution for Financial Institutions
|
TOKYO, JAPANNTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) announced today that it will offer a new comprehensive solution for online asset management, targeting Japanese financial institutions in collaboration with international account aggregation software vendor eWise Systems. Scheduled to start this March, the service will provide financial institutions with the essential infrastructure for conducting private online banking and other functions.
The online service will be based on eWise's account aggregation software. This software allows an end user to access information from multiple online accounts, for banking, telecommunications and email. When the user connects to a financial institution's website, he/she will not only be able to obtain updates of financial information, including recent transactions from all of his/her financial institutions, but also receive updates on airline mileage points and the number of non-read emails, all on a single screen. In addition, the eWise software comes with a marketing function which enables financial institutions to conduct marketing activities based on the user's financial situation. Consequently, this software is intended to increase user satisfaction and allow the financial institution to build customer loyalty. eWise software has already been successfully implemented by U.K.'s largest online bank, Egg, and Westpac, one of the four largest banks in Australia.
NTT Com will create the Japanese version of the software, which enables financial institutions to compile information detailing a user's various transactions for access at one site. The company will also offer a total solutions package that comprises consulting, system design, construction, operation and outsourcing.
As broadband continues to spread, demand for online services, including private banking that supports asset management and financial planning, is increasing in Japan. Going forward, NTT Com plans to offer other financial IT solutions that support CRM, security and IT investment evaluation, through partnerships.
eWise has pioneered the development of the customer driven account aggregation model, delivering a demonstrated ROI to its customers through the next generation in private & secure account aggregation technology. eWise offers its patented account aggregation software to financial institutions and online service providers. The eWise application suite incorporates Account Aggregation, eMarketing, Transaction, Wealth Management, Mobile & Customer Data Feed Applications. Account aggregation refers to a function where information from multiple websites can be viewed on a single screen. For more information, please access: www.ewisesystems.com
