IP-VPN Solutions Package Launched Worldwide |

NTT Communications (NTT Com) commenced the Global IP-VPN Solutions Package service on September 18 to enable customers to construct private networks connecting more than 120 countries, one of the largest coverage areas of any global IP-VPN service available. The package incorporates NTT Com's MPLS IP-VPN and IPSec tunneling services. Advantages include enhanced network reliability and reduced costs for network operation and management. One of the many standard features in this total solution is data backup, which switches network traffic to IPSec tunneling if a malfunction occurs in the IP-VPN. An optional traffic-control device can be installed on the customer's premises to set target bandwidth for each application. Customers can also monitor traffic in real-time via the Web. Another option is round-the-clock maintenance and management for on-site LAN devices, such as servers and switches. The service helps to minimize IT resource downtime and related effects on business. Solution packages can be tailored to specific needs for data center, security and VoIP services. |
