NTT Com Establishes Subsidiary in Guangzhou

NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced in May the establishment of NTT Com Asia Network Systems (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. to provide system integration services in the southern part of China.

Since entering the Chinese market in the 1980s, NTT Com has set up joint ventures in Beijing and Shanghai, and two wholly-owned subsidiaries in Hong Kong.

The new company is mainly providing foreign-owned offices and factories with network services and total solutions, such as LAN and IP network construction and teleconferencing systems. It also offers technical consulting and facility maintenance, as well as training in how to make maximum use of NTT Com services.

To better meet the needs of locally operating multinationals, the firm provides services in Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and English, and accepts payments in yuan.

NTT Com Asia Network Systems (Guangzhou) is headed by President Kenji Sakata and has a staff of six. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong-based NTT Com Asia Limited.
