TV Ads Boost NTT Coms Image as Global IP Company

TV viewers in Japan are learning more about the global IP operations of NTT Communications (NTT Com) as the result of a new advertising campaign launched last year.
In one ad, a systems engineer, dashing about one evening in Singapore, says: If youre a technical officer, have you ever lost sleep worrying that your corporate network might crash at night? NTT Communications supports your system 24/7, from London, New York and Tokyo. So give us a call, and sleep like a baby.
In another ad, filmed in New York, a systems consultant (photo) asks her audience, Know who transmits the most data between Japan and the world via the Internet? In other words, the company that smoothes the way for global business? Thats right, its NTT Communications. The visual World-class Tier One Network: NTT/VERIO Global IP Network also appears during the commercial.
NTT Com launched the campaign to boost the image of its NTT/VERIO brand. The brand, which includes global IP services jointly operated by NTT Communications and Verio, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, is available in more than 50 countries worldwide.
The company is pleased with the ads developed so far. Filmed in well-known overseas locations with young, energetic locals, the ads create a strong image of a vibrant, internationally networked NTT Com interacting with the global community. Although targeted mainly at system and corporate managers, general viewers are also said to be enjoying the campaign.
The next set of ads is scheduled to be shot in Portugal. |
