NTT Com Continues to Expand Chinese Market
|
Since entering the Chinese market in the 1980s, NTT Communications (NTT Com) has expanded its local operations into two joint ventures, one each in Beijing (incl. branch in Dalian) and Shanghai, and a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong (incl. branch in Guangzhou).
More than 1,000 orders for system and network integration services, including frame relay, ATM and leased circuits, have been received since NTT Com set up its first joint venture in 1997. Customers appreciate the companys tailored services and multi-language support in Japanese, English and Chinese.
NTT Com has helped lead the transition to IP-based services in China. In cooperation with a Chinese telecom carrier, for example, it was the first foreign carrier to provide IP-VPN (MPLS) services.
The company is focusing on key needs in the Chinese market, including reduction of network and IT investment costs, network security, IT management efficiency, sharing of supply-chain & stock-management information among branches, and establishment of call centers.
NTT Com is meeting these needs with seamless network and IT-management services, including network, data center, LAN/WAN integration, ranging from design and installation to maintenance and operation. |
