Mutual Wholesale Agreement Signed

| NTT Communications (NTT Com) and Telecom New Zealand (Telecom) signed an agreement for the reciprocal wholesale of international telecom services from June 2002. Customers both in New Zealand and Australia will benefit from access to NTT Com's global services. The Arcstar Global Network offers leased circuit, frame relay and ATM services featuring wide geographical coverage, 24/7 network operation and high reliability. NTT Com customers will gain access to a wider range of leased circuit, frame relay and ATM services via Telecom's highly reliable digital networks in Oceania and the Pacific islands. The partners view the agreement as an important milestone in expanding their commitment to the provision of world-class services. In the future, they expect to expand reciprocal sales in other markets of the Asia-Pacific region. Telecom, New Zealand's major telecom provider, offers fixed-line, mobile, Internet and data communications services. |
