Promise to Society
1. By providing more secure and innovative Internet services, we will contribute to the sound growth of the Internet society.
  1. (a) We will expand the realm of the Internet and contribute to the creation of a new society with our technologies.
  2. (b) Always recognizing our social responsibilities as a network infrastructure provider, we will never tolerate infringements on the rights and privacy of society and individuals.

2. We will cherish communications with society.
  1. (a) We will be responsible to our families and the local community as members of a “highly trusted company.”
  2. (b) We will observe the basic rules of society, being conscious of our responsibilities as employees of the NTT Communications Group.
  3. (c) We will never have a relationship with antisocial companies or organizations or engage in illegal activities, whether on or off the job.

3. We will understand and respect the cultures and customs of different nations.
