« What does it take to become a true “professional”?»
Merely completing assigned tasks does not make one a “professional.” We define professionals as those employees who share a common vision and respect the same guiding principles; make expert decisions and take expert action based on their knowledge and skills acquired on the job as well as their interpersonal skills and experience; and maximize added value through teamwork.

Having an ICT Professional mindset
From our customers' viewpoint, each employee represents the entire NTT Communications Group. We will therefore demonstrate a strong sense of ethics and a willingness for self-improvement as businesspeople. We will also remind ourselves that our salary is in effect paid by our customers and always give priority to businesses that create value for our customers. Each of us will have a clear understanding of OBP so that we can explain it to our customers with confidence. In addition, we will live up to our commitment to customers while taking pride and responsibility as professionals. Each one of us is responsible for building a strong brand as an "ICT Solution Partner" on which customers can-and do-rely.

Checking continuously on deviation from standards
We will each be a role model as a responsible professional and businessperson.
We will never commit unlawful activities such as sexual harassment, the abuse of authority, or any other human rights violations. Each of us will have a precise understanding of standards in that we believe that all kinds of unlawful activity require a strict response regardless of whether the standards were understood or not. Each employee should thoroughly read and understand the related checklists posted on the Intranet.
