Key to selecting a new business partnership is whether or not it will add further to the provision of services to our customers. It is important that the partnership benefits both the partner and us. We will look for optimum partners globally without being restricted by superficial factors such as the size of and past business ties with the candidate company. We will always gauge our partnerships from the viewpoint of providing customer value, and will flexibly review them on an ongoing basis. As professionals, we will strive for the highest performance, seriously learning from one another as business partners.

In providing services to our customers, the NTT Communications Group is also responsible for the jobs with which our business partners have been charged. Thus, when making partnerships, we consider it our responsibility to examine a variety of critical issues such as credibility and security, and properly administer and supervise their work to ensure the same level of quality as we expect from ourselves. Moreover, we will not forget that both parties are equal partners, and therefore will not act inappropriately and will reject excessive entertaining and gifts.
