Our Eco-Friendly Activities
We want to make a better society by having each and every one of our employees work toward that goal on daily basis-aving set a Long-Term Environmental Vision as the ideal form for its environmental conservation and protection activities, the NTT Communications Group contributes to the realization of a sustainable society that coexists with the global environment by providing solutions that reduce environmental impact in information and communication services.
Respecting our responsibilities as a corporate citizen, we are promoting activities that are in line with our guidelines.
We have implemented energy-saving activities at telecommunications facilities, during transportation and at offices.
We conduct ongoing activities to control pollutants such as PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyl) and asbestos, and to work to prevent air pollution.

Bridging to Reduce Our Environmental Footprint NTT Communications provides environment-friendly technologies and services.
We are working to promote reuse and recycling of telecommunications equipment, construction waste and office waste.
In addition to initiatives that preserve natural areas of national parks, we convey relevant information through the special biodiversity website "eco-goo."
Having in an appropriate manner self-assessed our efforts in, for example, reducing CO2 emissions, we have acquired the eco-ICT Mark that assesses the status of those efforts.
