NTT Com to Expand Arcstar Global IP-VPN in Europe

TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today it will expand its Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN service in Europe by launching new points of presence (POPs) in Hamburg, Madrid, Munich, Stockholm and Warsaw through its subsidiary NTT Europe.

Applications will be accepted in Madrid and Stockholm from October13 and in Hamburg, Munich and Warsaw from mid-November.

NTT Com has been offering network services to enterprise customers in Spain, Sweden and Poland through partnership with local companies. The launch of POPs in these countries’ capitals, Madrid, Stockholm and Warsaw, will enable NTT Europe to enhance the quality and cost of its services for enterprises in and around these cities.

"These new POPs extend NTT Com’s presence in some important areas in Europe," said Masaaki Moribayashi, Managing Director of NTT Europe. "We see the demand for data connectivity on a global scale continuing to grow as businesses are turning around in 2010. This announcement shows further commitment to network quality and driving costs down for our customers."
